CHILDREN 1ST support now available on email
CHILDREN 1ST has launched a new service to its ever increasing list of support facilities, in the shape of an email service, ran by ParentL
ine Scotland.
ParentLine Scotland, which is ran by CHILDREN 1ST, had recognised the increasing need to communicate with parents and guardians via alternative methods, rather than face to face, or over the telephone. The email facility was launched yesterday, in the hope that it will make obtaining advice and support from CHILDREN 1ST as easy as it possibly could be.
Jill Cook, Helpline Manager for ParentLine Scotland said “”We recognise that people are also looking to different channels of communication and, for some people looking for advice, email is a much more convenient method. Some people also find writing their feelings and experiences down to be quite a therapeutic process. We will also be launching podcasts this month that people can download and listen to whenever they choose.”
As a charity partner of People’s Postcode Lottery, CHILDREN 1ST have received £1,129,055.20 in unrestricted funding, allowing the charity to invest in the areas they feel needs it most.
