CHILDREN 1ST supports Government’s plans for minimum price plan for alcohol

Scottish charity CHILDREN 1ST announced yesterday that they would be part of a group of children charities and organisations who would be submitting a statement to the Scottish Governement supporting the plans to put in place a minimum pricing structure for the sale of alcohol.

The charities warn that excessive drinking by parents and guardians leads to negative impacts on children in the form of emotional stress, abuse and neglect.
